Mobility Window

Students of the master’s program may build and refine a cross-cultural academic profile, and prepare for exciting opportunities in both research and outside academia. To this purpose, the master’s program foresees a Mobility Window to carry out hands-on experience during an internship. The internship might be rather oriented towards a research-oriented qualification profile organized as research stay at a research institute, or application-oriented outside academia, e.g. in the private or public sector.

Study abroad

Our students may also seize the opportunity for a change of scenery by combining the mobility window with a facultative study abroad at one of our partner institutes.

The HCIAS' close cooperation with the Heidelberg Center Latin America (HCLA), the university’s offshore campus in Santiago de Chile, provides students with opportunities for academic networking and experience abroad.
