Ibero-American Studies: Master's Program 'Communication and Society in Ibero-America' Application

New admission regulations for master's program enable a study start in the summer semester (April) and the winter semester (October).
For further updates of the admission criteria

In order to be eligible for the master’s program Communication and Society in Ibero-America at the HCIAS you have to fulfill certain requirements. Study start is possible either in October or in April. On this page you will find information regarding the requirements and the application procedure.

Application period

  • For a study start in October: April 1 until September 30
  • For a study start in April: October 1 to March 31

Selection rounds take place continuously during the application periods which means that the earlier applicants submit their application, the earlier they receive the decision resolution. We strongly recommend that especially international students from non-EU countries submit their applications as early as possible, as this will provide you with ample time to prepare for a successful and timely start to your first semester.
