Cooperation: Faculty of Modern Languages, Department of Romance Studies
Dr. Robert Folger holds a professorship in Romance Literature with the Department of Romance Studies. His research focuses primarily on the medieval and early modern literature and culture of Spain and Latin America, as well as the literature and cultures of Latin America from the 19th century until the present day. As a HCIAS joint professor, Robert Folger builds a bridge to Ibero-American Literature and Cultural Studies, especially in the HCIAS Research Focus 2. He also connects the HCIAS with the Käte Hamburger Centre for Apocalyptic and Post-Apocalyptic Studies (CAPAS) at Heidelberg University.
