About Us Birgit Peuker
Postdoctoral researcher, bmbf project
Dr. Birgit Peuker has been a postdoc in the junior research group “Food for Justice: Power, Politics and Food Inequalities in a Bioeconomy” (2019-2025) funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) since June, 2023.
She is a sociologist and wrote her doctoral thesis entitled “The Controversy over the Application of Genetic Engineering in Agriculture” at the Technical University of Dresden.
